Heavy Gauge
Heavy gauge steel comes in several gauges and stud widths. Most common thicknesses are from 20 ga to 16 ga, and widths vary from 2 1/2 inches to 8 inches wide. They are most often used for load bearing and exterior walls, but can also be used for parapet walls or exterior accent “build outs”. Heavy gauges are also used for high walls, giving them the strength they need. Our steel stud installers will build any kind of heavy gauge wall or ceiling with strength and precision.
